My s...Hi, I just wanted you to know that I am here. My son is a wonderful 7 year old that was diagnosed with Asperger's Syndrome last December. Like you said in your post, we always knew something was up but to get at Asperger's we had to get a mountain of information and exhaust so much energy and go through so many schools and issues and just...well, you know. <BR/><BR/>I think my son's issue issue is that, like so many aspie kids, is so high functioning, so brilliant (and diabolical don't get me wrong) that the world can't see this hidden disease and when they do they are at a loss to understand, have sympathy, and find the methods to all of Joey's madness. <BR/><BR/>So I am looking forward to reading everyone's insights and commenting when I can.
